Horror Anthology Evolved

Tone & Style

"Woes" is a serious, earnest exploration of horror, committed to delivering imaginative and thought-provoking narratives. Our mission is to present pure, chilling horror that resonates deeply, attracting new fans while being embraced by devoted enthusiasts.

Each of the 3 chapters will exemplify a distinct horror subgenre. Our Supernatural Chapter strives to stand alongside paranormal horror greats like "The Omen" and "The Conjuring" while our Creature Feature Chapter aims to join the iconic ranks of "The Thing" and "Gremlins.”

Our approach ensures timeless, high-quality horror that both honors and innovates the genre.

Music

A consistent, haunting soundtrack in the vein of John Carpenter will subtly link the standalone narratives - Ideally, our goal would be to collaborate with Carpenter to release a new album each Halloween, offering fresh music from the master of horror soundtracks.

Branding

Woes - 3 Strikes

The Three Strikes logo will be a central element to this film series, creating a cohesive and recognizable brand identity for 'Woes.' Its simple yet powerful design makes it versatile for various promotional uses, from posters to street chalk art.

The Hobo Code

In the hobo code, three strikes on a wall indicate an unsafe area, symbolizing danger and caution. This ties into the underlying theme of fear and unease present in 'Woes.'"

Three Stories

Each strike represents one of the three standalone horror stories in 'Woes,' emphasizing their individuality and
unique narratives.

Narrative Connection

Each strike is moving in the same direction, indicating how the seemingly independent stories are actually connected
